Congressional Internships
College students interested in social work, government or politics are encouraged to apply for an internship in Congressman Pastor’s Phoenix Office, located in the ASU Downtown Center.

Congressman Ed Pastor, is accepting applications for internships in his Phoenix
District Office. The application deadline for a Summer 2009 Internship is April 10. The
deadline for a Fall 2009 Internship is July 15. Internships offer the full range of experience
involved in the day-to-day Congressional District Office, including:

    -    Assisting constituents and community organizations in resolving problems with federal agencies.
    -    Representing Congressman Pastor at community events and meetings.
    -    Researching federal legislation for constituents.
    -    Researching issues relevant to the district and Congressman Pastor.
 
        NOTE: Internships are non-paid and for credit only.
